Temporary Bridge, Ropeway or Ferry | The CL AirBridge

The CargoLifter AirBridge uses two (2) or three (3) winches to move loads horizontally across gaps of several hundreds meters. It is working up- and downhill as well, with precise landing of its cargo at determined points.

This creates the opportunity to temporarily bridge canyons and rivers or to transport goods in areas where e.g. floods, earthquakes or other catastrophes have destroyed the infrastructure.

If a harbour is blocked, too shallow, cargo is oversized or there is no sufficient equipment, unloading from ship-to-shore or vice versa with the AirBridge is another option. Such direct transfer can reduce the transport distance to the final destination drastically.
